The Shallows
The vanilla underground, between the surface and the new depths. They are not a new biome set.
The new colors begin at Deepwilds.
Deepwilds
These are the most open caves.
Underreach
Tighter caves.
Certus quartz is a mineral here, not a meteor on the surface.
The Abyss
These are the tightest caves.
Ores by depth
The chart is the Overworld column only. The Nether and the End are unchanged. An ore belongs to a whole depth, not to one biome. The light band and the dark band are stone bands and have no ores of their own. Final world height is not locked. This chart is decided and not generated.
Not on this chart. Draconium, which waits for Mantle and Core. Mantle and Core themselves. The Moon, Mars, the Jupiter system, Pluto, and the unrevealed star system.
There are no new mobs, spawners, tools, armor, or machines.
